Legendary Rapper Shock G’s Autopsy Shows Cause of Death

We were all surprised to hear legendary rapper and Digital Underground member Shock G passed away back in April. He was found unresponsive at a hotel in Tampa, FL after missing his check out time. The Hillsborough County Medical Examiner has now determined the cause of death while a more extensive final autopsy is being processed.

It has been determined that Shock G dies from an accidental overdose of fentanyl, methamphetamine and alcohol. He was best known for the ‘Humpty dance’ from back in the 1990’s and his alter ego Humpty Hump. The song was nominated for a Grammy Award and peaked at No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. Shock G was 57 when he died.
