Producer Baby Paul Talks Producing And Career With Check Your Potential
The Microphone Bully teams own Big Brother Biz and Sky sat down with Producer Baby Paul in the latest Check Your Potential Interview. Baby Paul has a huge catalog and has produced for tons of artists including Nas, AZ, Fat Joe, Smif n’ Wessun, BootCamp Click, Consequence, Olivia, Angie Stone, Heltah Skeltah, Duck Down, DJ Clue, Hussein Fatal and more. In this clip from our interview, he explains how he got his start as an intern at Power Play Studios and learned to create beats. He talks about working with several legends in the making early on and how he was able to establish himself as a young producer. His time at Power Play gave him the opportunity learn all aspects of studio life while working with established artists.
He also shares a few behind the scenes exclusive stories never heard before, about some of his collaborations and more. One in particular, was how he landed a song on the soundtrack of the classic movie Next Friday. The initial record was intended for an album, but ended up taking him to another level.
