News: Jay-Z, LL Cool J & More Nominated For Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation have announced the nominees for the 2021 Induction. To be eligible, an artist needs to have recorded a commercial track at least 25 years ago. Jay-Z, Mary J. Blige, Fela Kuti and Dionne Warwick are all on the 2021 ballot for the first time. Chaka Khan is up for a nomination making it her third time in the running. Tina Turner and Carole King are both nominated and if selected, will become the second and third female artists inducted twice. Take a look at the full list of nominees below.

The votes are determined by an international voting body of more than 1,000 artists, historians along with members of the music industry. Fans are also encouraged to vote and can do so each day by visiting Vote.Rockhall.com. Inductees will be announced in May 2021 and The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame 2021 Induction Ceremony will take place in Cleveland, Ohio this Fall.
