Rihanna’s Streams Increase After Super Bowl Halftime Performance

Rihanna’s streams are up! After her performance at the Super Bowl LVII Halftime Show this past weekend fans were shocked at Rihanna’s pregnant belly reveal. But, the singer has more great news as her performance resulted in the biggest day of streams for the pop star on all streaming platforms. Music streaming sites have reported her streams have increased a whopping 331% in just a day. Following her first set in over 7 years, she achieved the highest streams from concurrent listeners and streams in general.

The rise in streams are greater than any artist who has performed at the Super Bowl in the past. That includes last years performance which featured Dr. Dre, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar and Snoop Dogg. Her hit single from 2007, ‘Umbrella’ broke a new record returning to the Billboard charts in over 105 countries. ‘We Found Love’ also returned to the charts in 92 countries and was the most Shazamed song this past weekend. Spotify also stated ‘Bitch Better Have My Money’ increased by 2600% while ‘Diamonds’ increased by 1400% and ‘Rude Boy’ by 1170%.
