A bail hearing has been set for July 1st after Troy Ave plead not guilty to Attempted Murder Charges in a New York City court today. After being arraigned on May 31st, Troy Ave was back in court today still in a wheelchair due to his injuries in both legs. After being read the indictment by the District Attorney’s office, one count of second degree attempted murder and three counts of second degree criminal possession of a weapon, Troy plead not guilty.

The indictment stems from a shooting involving Troy Ave at NYC’s Irving Plaza. Troy’s bodyguard was killed and three other were injured. His attorney, Scott Leemon confirmed that bail was requested. Troy’s next hearing about that bail application will be July 1. Following that, defense motions are due by July 14, and the prosecution has until Aug. 4 to respond.
