News: Rihanna Launches Global Scholarship Program

Rihanna is giving back in a major way, launching a scholarship program through her Clara Lionel Foundation (CLF). She will provide scholarships for numerous students, both U.S. and Internationally, that will be able to go to college in the Unites States.

Clara Lionel Foundation has established a scholarship program to assist citizens or natives of Brazil, Barbados, Cuba, Haiti, Grenada, Guyana, or Jamaica who plan to continue their education in college in the United States.

Applications are being accepted until June 10th, 2016 and 50 finalists will be selected based on ‘academic performance, demonstrated leadership and participation in school and community activities, work experience and a personal essay.’ Scholarship winners will then be announced in August.
