Watch Young Thug’s Tiny Desk Concert

After watching Vince Staples give us his Tiny Desk (Home) Concert here, NPR drops another performance. This time Young Thug compete with a full band, performs a few songs in an intimate setting off his Slime Language 2 project. He brings the punk vibes accompanied by Tim Stewart on guitar, Jonny Goood on bass Tosh Peterson on drums and the legendary Travis Barker also on drums.

Thugger uses his Tiny Desk debut to usher in his next era, one that’s meant to represent “authenticity, consciousness and overall purity.” He also premieres songs off his long-teased album (due out Oct. 15). Take a look and watch the 13-minute set below.
