Watch Raekwon vs. Ghostface Killah VERZUZ Battle
The anticipated VERZUZ battle between Raekwon and Ghostface Killah took place last night. We were all glued to our screens to watch the two legendary rappers take to the stage to showcase their catalogs. The Wu Tang Clan group members reminisced about old times including a trip they took together back in the day. The vibe in the room was completely friendly and family oriented showing they are still good friends.
After teaming up with Triller, the VERZUZ battle started promptly at 8 pm EST as DJ Thoro and Technician started the show. Ghostface kicked off the battle with his verse from ‘Special Delivery,’ while Rae played his Outkast ‘Skew It on the Bar-B’ track. RZA, Cappadonna, Masta Killah and Young Dirty Bastard all came out to show support. Raekwon was a bit drunk and the second half started without Ghostface. However, the battle ended with the two dancing to old 70’s soul classics for the world to enjoy.
