So far, 2015 has produced some pretty good music and we’re only in the first quarter. Kendrick Lamar’s new album To Pimp A Butterfly spends its second week in the #1 spot moving 123,00 units (107,000 album sales) bringing the total to 423,000. This makes his album the first since Taylor Swift’s 1989 to spent the first two consecutive weeks at #1.

J. Cole’s album Forest Hills Drive which was released in December, is now certified platinum moving 10,714 copies in the last week which put it over $1 million in sales. It is the first album in 26 years with no guest features to go platinum.
