News: Casanova Turns Himself In For Federal Racketeering Charges

Casanova, 34, turned himself in this week after being wanted for a slew of charges. He along with 18 members of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang were charged in a sealed indictment in New York City. The charges range from defrauding programs meant for low income individuals to ghr murder of a 15-year old boy in Poughkeepsie, NY.

Casanova plead not guilty on Thursday for the charges of conspiracy to distribute controlled substances, conspiracy to commit racketeering and firearms possession. He was not involved with the murder charge. The U.S. attorney on the case Audrey Strauss had this to say:

“Members of Gorilla Stone committed terrible acts of violence, trafficked in narcotics, and even engaged in brazen fraud by exploiting benefits programs meant to provide assistance in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.”

Casanova’s defense lawyer, James Kousouros says he denies the charges and is expected to be exonerated of the charges. Casanova hailing from Brooklyn, NY burst onto the scene in 2016 with his single ‘Don’t Run.’ He signed with Roc Nation and dropped his debut album Behind These Scars last year.
