Kanye West Docu-series ‘Jeen-Yuhs’ Coming to Netflix

Earlier this year, there was a rumor that a Kanye West documentary was coming to Netflix. Now, we know it is true as Netflix has announced the docu-series is indeed in motion. Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, who are responsible for Ye’s ‘Jesus Walks’ and ‘Through the Wire’ visuals have two decades worth of never seen before footage. Netflix has now aquired the footage from TIME Studios, Coodie and Chike for a reported $30 million.

The docu-series titled JEEN-YUHS will feature homes videos, studio sessions and more. It will also show how Kanye dealt with the death of his mother his personal evolution and his transition into the fashion industry. Netflix gives us a first look at the doc with a scene featuring Ye along with Mos Def rapping their song ‘Two Words.’ The doc will be coming to Netflix in 2022.
