First Look at the XXXTentacion Documentary ‘Look At Me’ on Hulu

Hulu gives us a first look at the forthcoming documentary on the career and untimely death of artist XXXTentacion. The rapper was shot and killed in an armed robbery back in 2018. The doc also shows his highlights along with his downfalls leading up to his death. XXX rose to stardom during the SoundCloud era, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard Album Charts. He went through his share of legal issues including robbery, aggravated battery, assault and more. By the time he passed he was facing over a dozen felony charges.

“Look At Me: XXXTENTACION” explores how Florida teenager Jahseh Onfroy became SoundCloud rapper XXXTENTACION, one of the most streamed artists on the planet. Through frank commentary from family, friends and romantic partners as well as unseen archival footage, director Sabaah Folayan offers a sensitive portrayal of an artist whose acts of violence, raw musical talent and open struggles with mental health left an indelible mark on his generation before his death at the age of 20.

The documentary was produced by Sabaah Folayan, executive produced by Rob Stone of FADER Films, Cleopatra Bernard and Solomon Sobande. Be sure to watch the premiere on May 26th on Hulu. Take a look and watch the official trailer below.
