Video: Ashanti vs. Keyshia Cole VERZUZ Battle

Ashanti and Keyshia Cole went head to head in the latest VERZUZ battle live on IG and Apple TV. The two ladies finally got a chance to face off after the battle had been postponed twice due to Covid-19. Both arriving extremely late, Ashanti 30 minutes and Keyshia over an hour, the battle commenced.

Keyshia set off the battle playing her first single ‘I Changed My Mind’ while Ashanti countered with ‘Happy.’ Round 2 consisted of Ashanti playing ‘I Should Have Cheated’ followed by Ashanti playing ‘The Way That I Love You.’ The rounds continued with both singer giving fans their 2Pac featured records in Round 7. Keychia showcased her feature tracks including her Sean Paul, Missy Elliott and Monica records. Ashanti came back with her Ja Rule assisted tracks along with her hit singles ‘Foolish’ and ‘Unfoolish.’ OT Genasis popped up on the screen when Keyshia gave us her ‘Love’ single appearing to have squashed their beef. We had to give it to Ashanti for her record placement and for holding down the beginning of the VERZUZ battle before Keyshia arrived.
