News: Troy Ave Released From Hospital, Held Without Bail

Troy Ave was released from the hospital Monday, after being arrested in connection with the shooting last week at Irving Plaza. There was one fatally and 3 injuries at the T.I. concert in NYC where Troy Ave was said to have shot himself in the leg. He was seen entering Manhattan criminal court, handcuffed to a wheelchair, where he plead not guilty and was held without bail until his next court date on June 9.

His lawyer, Scott Lemon says Troy Ave is the victim in the matter,

‘What really happened here is Mr. Collins here is the real victim. The person who was killed at this event, he died a hero. He (McPhatter) was his bodyguard. He wasn’t shot by Mr. Collins. He was a lifelong friend. This 11 seconds of video that the NYPD released, it doesn’t say what happened before, it doesn’t say what happened after. The scientific evidence will show he didn’t shoot himself. This was another rush to judgement. In this case he’s the victim and should be treated like the victim.’
