Watch The BET Awards 2021 Recap Performances and More

The BET Awards aired last night live with the ‘Year of the Black Woman’ theme hosted by Taraji P. Henson. Although it wasn’t at full capacity, tons of artists and musicians turned out in person to be honored. Ciara, Ashanti, Chloe Bailey, Sevyn Streeter, Saweetie, Megan Thee Stallion and more graced the Red Carpet in stunning gowns. There were a bunch of surprise moments, greta performances and more.

Queen Latifah was the Lifetime Achievement Award recipient for her decades long career. Lil Kim, MC Lyte, Monie Love and more honored her by performing ‘UNITY’ and ‘Ladies First.’ Megan Thee Stallion took home the awards for ‘Best Female Hip Hop Artist,’ ‘Best Collaboration,’ ‘Video of the Year’ and more. Cardi B unveiled her second baby is on the way performing at the show in an outfit exposng her growing bump. Lil Nas X payed homage to Michael Jackson with his performance inspired by ‘Remember The Time.’ DMX was honored in a tribute performance by Swizz Beatz, Busta Rhymes, Method Man, Griselda and more. There were tons of additional performers including Jazmine Sullivan, Migos, City Girls, DJ Khaled, Andra Day and others.
