Video: Watch Jadakiss vs. Fabolous VERZUZ Battle
Monday night was just as entertaining as anticipated as Verzuz gave us a new battle to occupy our time. Live and direct from Jungle Studios in New York, Jadakiss and Fabolous put on for the culture in a 20-song battle. The Hip Hop community was locked in to see who would prevail in the Monday-night match up.
The battle started off smooth with Jadakiss kicking things off with a classic street anthem ‘Blackout.’ Fab returned fire with the Lil Wayne featured ‘You Ain’t Got Nuthin.’ As the festivities continued, it was evident Jadakiss prepared for the battle pumping out hard-hitting tracks plus giving us tracks he wrote for other artists. Fabolous continued to confer with DJ Boof on what songs to play as Jada and his DJ were seamlessly in sync. Even after the D’USSÉ kicked in, Jada prevailed proving you can still keep the party going while getting #Jadadrunk.
This battle was by far one of the more entertaining Verzuz match-ups as New York won on Monday night. We had Jadakiss winning by a land-slide but regardless it was a celebration for Hip Hop. The after party took place on Verzuz TV with DJ Envy and DJ Clue playing some of Jada and Fab’s most classic tracks that were not heard during the battle.
