Chance The Rapper is staying true to his effort to improve the Chicago Public Schools for the kids in the inner city. After already promising to give $1 million to schools in the Chi through his non-profit Social Works organization, to date they have raised over $3 million.
Chance stopped by Michele Clark High School, a magnet school on Chicago’s westside a few days ago. He announced to the kids that their local supermarket Jewel-Osco would be donating $1 million. They will donate through the New Chance: Arts & Literature Fund, a part of the Social Works organization.
