News: A$AP Bari Avoids Jail Time Pleads Guilty in Sexual Assault Case

A$AP Bari, founder of the popular brand VLONE, has plead guilty to one charge of sexual assault over in London. The charge stems from a July 2017 video showing Bari assaulting a female in a hotel room. Bari said the video was ‘misleading’ adding that he has resolved this issue amicably among all parties as adults.

Bari attempted to talk to the woman in the video earlier that night back in July, but she declined. The woman later returned to the Hotel with another man, Bari’s assistant. The video shows Bari removing the duvet cover off the woman at 4 am, telling her she has to give him oral sex. She then replies, ‘Bari Stop!.’ Bari alleges the video was released by someone who wants to tarnish his name. The judge said today in court Bari had an ‘very unpleasant attitude’ toward woman. He was able to avoid jail time by pleading guilty to the sexual assault charge and was ordered to pay a fine of £4,500 GBP ($5,600 USD). He was also ordered to pay £2,500 GBP ($3,150 USD) to the victim. Bari is countersuing the woman for ‘defamation and civil extortion for allegedly pressuring him into settling.’
