The ex-rapper has evolved and now produces his own music; a true melting pot of genres. RAIN finds himself working alone, in his sky-lab, deep inside the belly of the ‘beats’; Manchester, UK – where studio microphones invite the stray sirens and wicked weather to be a part of the music. Working between Manchester, UK – and a small hidden studio deep inside the French Alps mountain range, MANCHESTER RAIN absorbs the two opposing environments; the cityscape and the vast mountain ranges – and allows them to find their way into the music… ‘environment is everything’.
