‘Valedictorian Speech’ is a story of tragedy to triumph. For the 4th visual off the critically acclaimed album, ‘Southie: Stories of Untold Truths Hidden in Existence’ Casket collaborates with Stoops NY yet again, this time to bring to life the vivid story of Janessa Peters. The fictional young girl from Tupac’s “Brenda’s Got a Baby” who over 2 decades ago was literally thrown away by her adolescent and neglected mother Brenda Jackson. Casket reimagines her outcome in his version and tells an inspirational tale as she survived her initial abandonment and escaped death by being rescued. She persevered through dire obstacles placed in her way on path to becoming the Valedictorian of her collegiate graduating class.
