Video: Watch Rick Ross vs. 2 Chainz VERZUZ Battle
Last night, Hip Hop fans all over the world were tuned into the latest Verzuz battle. After the epic showdown between the dogs, DMX and Snoop here, Swizz Beatz and Timb gave us a head-to-head with two of our fav rappers from The South, Rick Ross vs. 2 Chainz.
The pairing of theses two Artists wasn’t our particular pick, but it was interesting to see how they would match up. The Verzuz battle started off slow with Ross kicking the festivities off with the song ‘BMF.’ 2 Chainz countered with his single ‘I’m Different’ as both rappers warmed up. 2 Chainz even brought out a few essential workers to get the party started. Ross took some time out during his set to get a massage, smh! As the battle continued, they went well over the 20 track layout and even premiered new songs. 2 Chainz unveiled a new song featuring Lil Wayne titled ‘Money Maker’ while Ross dropped a new song ‘Pinned to the Cross.’ If you missed the Verzuz battle, take a look and watch the replay below.
