News: Young Jeezy Gun Charges Have Been Dismissed
We told you back in the summer about Young Jeezy and his crew being arrested and held on several charges. Jeezy was arrested on gun charges and would not bail himself out until his entourage including the driver of his tour bus had been released. Well, the charges have been dismissed as the Mountain View Police department had no physical evidence that Jeezy was involved in a shooting or any other crimes. The weapons that were seized from Jeezy’s crew were returned to them after being cleared. Take a look below at what Jeezy and his counsel had to say on the matter.
“I pray this had nothing to do with race but it definitely had nothing to do with evidence. Words cannot express how vindicated I feel with these charges being dismissed today,” states Jay Jenkins (aka Jeezy). “While my team and I always knew that the allegations and charges were based on zero facts, the rush to judgment by both the media and the police has been extremely disappointing. I’m relieved that the truth has ultimately prevailed and I would like to thank those who have always stood by me including my family and fans.” -Young Jeezy
“Mr. Jenkins should not have been arrested and this case should not have been prosecuted. We are pleased it has been dismissed, although frustrated that it took the police and prosecutors months to do the right thing.” -Blair Berk, Counsel
