News: J. Cole Was Highest Earning Rapper of 2015

J. Cole comes in at number 27 on Billboard’s Highest Earner’s List of 2015. The list covers artist who’s income came directly from music sales, streaming, touring and publishing, not merchandising, sponsorships and other revenue sources.

J. Cole earned a total of $8.8 million in 2015, $5.5 million coming from touring and was 1 of 8 artist on the list to do more than 1 billion streams in 2015.. He embarked on The Forest Hills Drive world tour last year, with his homecoming concert special airing on HBO in January. He also released Revenge of the Dreamers II compilation LP which brought in $1.5 million from sales, $1.1 million from publishing and $788,000 from streaming. Taylor Swift was the list topper by a landslide with $73.5 million in sales, streaming, publushing and touring.
