News: Jay-Z First Rapper To Be Inducted into Songwriters Hall Of Fame
You can officially say Jay-Z has made history. The Brooklyn rapper is the first rapper that will be inducted into the Songwriters Hall Of Fame on June 15th, 2017. This morning, Niles Rodgers stopped by Good Morning America to announce that Jay will indeed be inducted after being nominated last year along with Babyface, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Berry Gordy, Max Martin and others.
Jay-Z also plans to launch a new venture capital firm with business associate Jay Brown. They already have investments in JetSmarter, Devialet with plans to branch out further.
