News: Diddy Pledges $1 Million To Alma Mater, Howard University

Diddy has had a successful career thus far in music, entertainment and other business endeavors. On a recent stop in Washington, DC during his Bad Boy Reunion Tour, he decided to give back to his Alma Mater, Howard University for all the school has done for him. He gave President Dr. Wayne A. I. Frederick a $1 million pledge to Howard’s School Of Business, establishing The Sean Combs Scholarship Fund for the school.

‘This scholarship will make it possible for the next generation of leaders to pursue their dreams and achieve greatness,’ said Puff during the presentation.

The school’s President, Dr. Frederick had this to say,

‘The scholarship fund that Mr. Combs has established at Howard will help provide life-altering opportunities for our students, particularly at a time when many come to Howard struggling to meet ever-increasing financial needs. The University is grateful for Mr. Combs’ ongoing efforts to open doors for talented, hard-working individuals and improve their chances of navigating the way to personal and professional fulfillment.’
