News: Erykah Badu & Nas Team Up For Indie Drama ‘The Land’
Erykah Badu and Nas will be working together on an upcoming indie drama tv show. According to Variety, Nas will executive produce The Land, an upcoming drama starring Erykah Badu and Michael K. Williams from The Wire.
Premiering at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival in January, The Land “follows four teenage boys who devote their summer to escaping the streets of Cleveland to pursue professional skateboarding. When they get caught in the web of a local drug queen-pin, their motley brotherhood is put to the test.”
