News: Donald Glover Inks New Deal with FX, Will Develop More Projects
Donald Glover has a lot to celebrate fresh off two Golden Globe wins this past weekend for his hit show Atlanta. Now he solidifies his spot, inking an overall deal with FX Productions. The deal will give him the opportunity to develop projects for FX and other networks/streaming services. He will also continue to write, produce and direct Atlanta which will return for a second season in 2018. Glover will also be starring in the new Star Wars Han Solo film.
Atlanta received rave reviews last year ranking in the Top 3 Comedy series by TV critic Tim Goodman. The show was also nominated for WGA and DGA awards and was the highest-rated comedy in FX history, averaging 4.8 million viewers. Congrats goes out to Donald Glover!
