Donald Glover was apart of a historic moment on Sunday night when he attended the 69th annual Emmy Awards. He was the first African American actor to win an Emmy for Best Directing for a Comedy Series. The award was on behalf of his hit series Atlanta on FX. He also won an Emmy for Best Lead Actor in a Comedy for the show.
During his post-win speech backstage, he gave an update on his forthcoming joint mixtape with Chance The Rapper.
‘Music, I don’t ever wanna do anything because I’m forced to. Also, I feel like if I don’t make a Chance The Rapper mixtape, like double mixtape, a bunch of 14-year-olds are gonna kick my ass.’
