Chance The Rapper’s new third solo LP (or Mixtape), Coloring Book has made history as the first ever stream-only album to chart on the Billboard 200 Album Charts. The project which was released exclusively on Apple Music lands at No. 8 on the Charts and was streamed 57.3 million times. According to Hits Daily Double, that equates to 38,000 units. They estimate 40-50,000 first-week units, based off 60-75 million streams.

The album will hit additional retailers including iTunes on May 27th, but no word on whether it will be eligible for a Grammy nomination because it wasn’t available for sale. You can support the petition to allow free music to be eligible for Grammys here.
