Event RECAP: Tinashe Performs Songs off ‘Joyride’ LP iHeartTheater in NYC

We had the pleasure of attending a private Live performance yesterday (Monday, June 6, 2016) for singer Tinashe as she previewed songs off her forthcoming album Joyride. She also had the crowd jumping performing some fan favorites off her debut album Aquarius. The show was part of iHeartRadio’s Move With The Music campaign powered by Degree.

The show began as Tinashe was introduced to her fans by Z100’s Maxwell, who kicked things off with a short interview. It was great to get a little backstory on the album and more from the pop-star before she gave the crowd a show. Tinashe spoke on her new sophomore effort, Joyride and how focused she has been working on new music.

‘I’ve been working on this album for a while now … Joyride. I’ve been really putting in a lot of work and I took a second to go into my zone and make a couple more songs and just really revamp and really focus on the music.’ -Tinashe
