Event RECAP: The Lox & Young M.A Headline SummerStage 2018 Concert (MBTV Edition)
City Parks Foundation held their annual SummerStage event this past weekend at the Coney Island Ford Amphitheater in Brooklyn, NY. City Parks provides free concerts all Summer long throughout New York City’s five boroughs. We had the opportunity to attend as Funk Flex was on hand to get the crowd ready for the night. Young M.A and The Lox were the special guest performers at the annual concert hosted by Torae.
Young M.A performed a handful of her songs including ‘Ooouuu,’ ‘Petty Wap’ and more. Her fans rushed the stage to sing along as the rapper performed for her hometown. The Lox were up next, starting their set with The Bartendaz who showcased their athletic skills. Styles P, Jadakiss and Sheek Louch gave the crowd an array of classic tracks including their popular hit ‘Wild Out.’ They made sure to bring out a few special guests Lil Cease, Camp Lo, Nino Man, Snyp Life and more. There were tons of celebrity appearances as we ran into one of the newest LA Lakers, Lance Stephenson.
